Regis is the true consummate for both talk and game shows. Everyone knows his love for Notre Dame the Bronx his wife Joy and his two girls even the family pet cat. (Not in that order of course) Few know, that when he started out at KGTV San Diego with his own show he had no writing staff due to the budget. This led him to begin each show with the chat which has become his hallmark “the host chat”. Whether he is a celebrity guest in Wrestle mania 1991, the host of the Miss America Pageant, co host the (Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade) or fill in for Dick Clark’s Rockin New Years Eve.

The facts are no one can fill in for Regis!

His warmth is genuine; his laugh contagious and when making a point many try to duplicate that higher pitch. Often imitated but rarely duplicated, he is a great example of the AmeriCAN Spirit. The love for Regis was demonstrated by all during his absence during surgery. Regis you are an inspiration and friend each morning to millions of Americans, thank you.
